The Chogoria Route
Among the most scenic route, it is a 6 days which from Nairobi starts at Chogoria town in Meru South district all the way down to Narumoru an average of 92 KM within tropical forests and land with all wildlife species
Day 1: Travelling from Nairobi to Chogoria for reception and resting at our base Transit Motel.
Day 2: Travelling to park gate, camping dinner and overnight
Day 3: Arriving to point minto’s hut at 4300m that is situated on a plateau overlooking Lake Michaelson 300m below.
Day 4: Continuation to Austrian hut via tooth col which is between several rock towers, and spending of our night.
Day 5: Climbing Peak Lenana, about one hour trek from Austrian hut, later descend to Chogoria park gate for the night.
Day 6: An early morning (after breakfast) 15km walk through the rain forests and bamboo zones to our vehicle to transfer to Nairobi.
Tour cost: US$ 900 per person
Included in the price:
